Evinrude E-TEC Software
- When changing Evinrude E-TEC injectors, it can require updating the Engine EMM with coefficients for the new injector.
- To Update the Engine EMM with the new coefficients, it requires the Evinrude software which can be quote expensive.
- It seems there are other options… We have a customer who is an Software Engineer for the DOD. He bought this software and used it, he also has it scanned and air gapped it then monitored it, there was no evidence of anything nefarious or the software reaching out to the internet etc.
