It’s important to understand that the coefficient file required by the EMM is unique to each injector. When replacing an E-TEC injector, you must update the EMM with that new or used injector’s specific coefficients. You can retrieve the coefficients by scanning the QR code on the injector tag; however, those values represent new injector data and do not account for wear. If you purchase injector coefficients from a dealer, their coefficient files should include adjustments for age and usage.
